We collect nothing
Phaseboard contains no analytics, no usage tracking, no crash reports, no advertising. We do not run any server that stores your projects. We do not know who you are, what you are working on, or which features you use. Apple audits this claim every time we submit a new build.
Where your data lives
Your projects, tasks, ideas, photos, and notes are saved on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and have it enabled, the same data syncs privately between your own Apple devices through your iCloud account. The data sits in your personal iCloud storage, not ours. We never receive a copy.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app works the same way, just without syncing between devices.
Third parties
Apple handles all purchases through the App Store, including payment, refunds, family sharing, and subscription management, under Apple's own privacy policy.
RevenueCat helps us check whether you have Pro. They receive an anonymous identifier from Apple, never your name, your email, or anything you have written in the app. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
That is the complete list. No analytics, no error monitoring, no advertising, no marketing platforms.
Permissions you may grant
- Photos — only used if you attach a photo to a task. We never browse your library.
- Notifications — only used if you set a reminder on a task. We never send marketing.
- iCloud — only used when you are signed in and have it enabled.
You can turn any of these off in your device settings at any time. The rest of the app keeps working.
Your data, your control
Because we keep nothing on our side, there is nothing for us to give you, delete, or correct. To take a copy of everything Phaseboard knows about your work, use the Export button inside the app. To delete it all, remove the app and clear its iCloud data through your iCloud settings.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date below and note it on the What's New page in the app.
