If you cancel a subscription or downgrade, every project, idea, and attachment stays in place. You just won't be able to add new ones above the free limits until you re-subscribe or buy Lifetime.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You keep all your projects, ideas, notes, photos, and history. Nothing gets deleted. You simply won't be able to create new projects above the free limit (3 active projects, 5 inbox ideas) until you re-subscribe or buy Lifetime. Existing content stays fully readable and editable.
How does the free trial work?
Pick the Monthly or Yearly plan and you get 7 days of full Pro at no charge. Apple sends a reminder before the trial ends. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and you won't be charged.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes, between Monthly and Yearly in your Apple ID subscription settings; Apple prorates the change. Lifetime is a separate one-time purchase and does not replace an active subscription, so consider cancelling the subscription first if you intend to buy Lifetime.
Does Family Sharing work?
Yes. Both Lifetime and the subscriptions are eligible for Apple Family Sharing. Enable it once and up to five other family members on your Apple Family can use Pro at no extra cost.
What about refunds?
All purchases run through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within the eligible window. If you feel something went wrong on our side, email support@phaseboard.app and we will help.
Why is there a free version at all?
Phaseboard should be useful on its own, without paying. Free gives you three active projects and five inbox ideas, full iCloud sync, all three languages, and four core widgets — enough for someone tracking a small set of things at once. Pro adds more headroom and the trimmings that go on top.
